Heart of the
Valley
Little Chute, Kaukauna, Combined Locks,
Kimberly, Vandenbroek, Buchanan and Freedom are nestled in what locals refer to
as the "Heart of the Valley." These charming communities offer glimpses of
Midwestern life combined with old-fashioned Wisconsin traditions.
Set against the scenery of the Fox River,
Heart of the Valley villages and towns are abundant with picturesque scenery
highlighting leisurely walks or relaxing bike rides on trails along the
river.
Kimberly's Sunset Point Park is one of the
area's largest parks and during the summer months, Sunday evening performances
are held in its outdoor amphitheater.
Connected by Doty Island, Neenah and Menasha
rest at the top of Lake Winnebago where the Fox River flows from the lake.
Meccas for fishing and boating, both communities offer recreational
opportunities whether you're trekking Neenah's 21-mile trail system or docking
at Menasha's 87-slip marina.
Grand Chute, home to Fox River
Mall-Wisconsin's largest mall north of Milwaukee-serves as the Fox Cities
commercial hub. Parent to numerous hotels, restaurants and businesses, Grand
Chute also boasts numerous parks and nature preserves.
Adjacent to Grand Chute, Greenville retains
its rich farming heritage as one of Wisconsin's fastest growing commercial
areas. Home to the Outagamie County Regional Airport, Greenville's past is
encapsulated by historic buildings that serve as community gathering
places.
